We would like to introduce you to this stunner of a plant, the Alocasia Lukiwan. It doesn’t fail to deliver extraordinary looks, with textured foliage in a dark and lush green colour. Combine this with a high glossy look and there you have the eye-catching Alocasia Lukiwan. You may notice familiar traits from other Alocasia species, as it's a captivating hybrid of Alocasia Alba and Alocasia Sinuata. Quite the good-looking lovechild, wouldn't you agree?

Alocasia likes to grow inside a chunky soil mix. You might want to take advantage of our aroid potting mix kit, since all the needed substrates are there for you. Make sure that the mix is able to drain, but still able to retain moisture.
You can make sure the soil stays moist, without it getting soggy. This would be to water whenever the top of the soil is starting to feel dry. We advise using a pot with drainage holes, so excess water can drain from the pot.
You can place this pretty hybrid on a bright spot, as long as there is no harsh sunlight that might scorch the foliage. A good spot would be near a less sunny window, or a few metres away from a very sunny window.
