The multicoloured leaves of the Calathea triostar are instantly recognisable, and she has an appealing habit of opening and closing her leaves in response to changing conditions, even opening and closing according to how bright the light is! If you are very quiet you can even hear her leaves rustling. The Calathea triostar likes to take up a lot of room but she doesn’t need a lot of light, so she’s perfect for the darker areas of your living room, the hall or even the bathroom.
The Calathea Triostar likes a light spot but prefers not to stand in the sun.
The plant is extra air-purifying. Try to keep the potting soil constantly moist, that will make this plant happy! Just make sure that there is no layer of water at the bottom of the pot, as this will make the roots a little less happy.

November 14, 2021I'm amazed by how gorgeous this Triostar is. I got the pot with multiple plants in it. It's massive! And it shipped very well. It had some black dots on the bottom leaves. Looks like mold, but to be fair, it was shipping for a while, over a weekend and a bank holiday, with somewhat damp substrate, so the closest leaves to the surface of the substrate got some mechanical damage, and the ones squeezed on them got a little mold. Nothing that a little wash/wipe and a fungicide treatment can't fix.. I absolutely love the plant and I would highly recommend it ❤
