The multicoloured leaves of the Calathea triostar are instantly recognisable, and she has an appealing habit of opening and closing her leaves in response to changing conditions, even opening and closing according to how bright the light is! If you are very quiet you can even hear her leaves rustling. The Calathea triostar likes to take up a lot of room but she doesn’t need a lot of light, so she’s perfect for the darker areas of your living room, the hall or even the bathroom.
The Calathea Triostar likes a light spot but prefers not to stand in the sun.
The plant is extra air-purifying. Try to keep the potting soil constantly moist, that will make this plant happy! Just make sure that there is no layer of water at the bottom of the pot, as this will make the roots a little less happy.

It is an outstanding plant, especially in the big size. Due to the number of the leaves, it had some mechanical damage upon arrival, but I believe it will quickly overcome it. The rootball was healthy and well developed, sturdy as a second pot inside the plastic one!
