The Alocasia Gageana is like lots of Alocasias known as the Elephant Ear plant. She owes that name to her large, deep green, ribbed leaves which just look alike. This beauty likes to occupy a lot of space as she is used to in her natural environment. This way she is able to grow great heights and really show her splendour within your room.
The Alocasia Gageana occurs naturally in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. She is an easy type and thrives in many growing conditions. The soil should always be slightly moist, but not wet. Then the roots can rot. The best way to check if the Alocasia Gageana needs water is to check the soil with your finger. She is used to high humidity. Give her leaves a spray every now and then: she loves it! This beauty also likes a little sun and doesn't do well in shady spots. Part shade is perfect!

Absolutely gorgeous plant! It was bigger than I anticipated, which is a huge positive for me. Plus, she has a large new leaf that has unfurled since we received her. Very happy with this gorgeous plant!

I would give 10 out of 5 stars! It was on sale and I love alocasias. Hadn't seen it before. With its beautiful scalloped leaves, I thought it irresistable. And it is magnificent! Big, bushy, many young and new leaves, and a very large and sturdy base. Very sexy. It is actually bigger than I anticipated, so the place I had envisioned for it, will not suit. Haha, have to improvise, but love it no matter what. Very happy customer.

Plant was bigger than i thought and it was carefully packaged. There were some minor damage on a few leaves but customer service took care of the situation. They were really friendly and helpful. Plant started making new leaves soon after arriving and it's thriving.
