The Ctenanthe Burle Marxii comes from the tropical regions of Central and South America and is related to the Calathea. Her leaves make this beauty a real eye-catcher. The long, oval leaf has a striped herringbone pattern and is dark green with gray-green. The undersides of the leaves are reddish, which she will show you every night after dark. In the morning she will delight you again with her beautiful leaves!
This Fishbone prayer plant is a tough plant. She prefers shade and absolutely doesn't like direct sunlight as this will scorch her pretty patterned leaves. She appreciates a humid environment, therefor it is best you help her by misting her daily with a plant sprayer. It is important to keep her soil moist
