Who doesn’t love pink? We certainly do! This is the Hypoestes Phyllostachya and she is suited for all pink lovers! She has pink leaves with a green speckled pattern on top. This pink baby has a tropical origin and loves this climate. Provide her with a humidity of 50% or higher and place her inside bright indirect light to keep that pink nice and vibrant. She adores having slightly moist soil, you can water her every 3-4 days to keep her happy. Just make sure that her soil will not be soggy, it would be a shame if this cutie would get root rot. Tip from PLNTS! If you rather keep the humidity in your house lower, you can place this baby right next to your humidifier and that will also do the trick. :)

The Hypoestes phyllostachya is a member of the Acanthaceae family. You might know it better as the "Polka Dot Plant" because of its unique leaf pattern, which looks like it's covered in dots. This plant originally comes from regions like South Africa, Madagascar, and Southeast Asia, where it thrives in the tropical rainforest climate.
