Variegated plants always need some type of extra care, but this plant is the perfect candidate for when you never have taken care of any variegated plant. It is important to provide her with enough light, since low light can cause her to produce less variegation. A spot with lots of bright, indirect light is perfect for her.
She isn’t too picky about the rest of her requirements, most important is to keep her inside a stable environment that isn’t too cold or too dry.
You can stimulate her growth by providing her with a climbing tool, like a plant stake or moss pole. Also by providing her with nutrition during the growing season. She grow quite rapidly, which requires a monthly portion of PLNTS nutrition added to your water.

September 14, 2024I am so happy I bought this, it is absolutely massive, way bigger than the picture and the variegation is not to much which is good because I had some bad experiences with this plant going all white in the past. I am now growing it on a moss pole, which it already rooted in, even tho' it only arrived a couple of days ago. 10/10 would get again.

The Rhaphidophora genus originates from Tropical Africa, Australia, Malaysia and Western Pacific. The genus consists of 100 species, and these beauties are all from the family of Araceae. These beauties are capable of beginning life just as a seed, or even be at first a terrestrial plant and climb in a tree to send roots back to the soil. Sometimes they even thrive in fast-flowing water. We call them rheophytic plants. It’s a really interesting plant, right?
