The braided Pachira Aquatica is a beautiful plant with a braided trunk. Despite her Latin American roots, the Pachira Aquatica is best known in Asia. Her leaves are five-pointed and therefore symbolic in feng shui. She is a real asset as a large houseplant, as she grows fast! In nature, it can even grow up to 25 metres tall! You would then almost say she is a tree rather than a houseplant.
The braided Pachira Aquatica does not like wet feet. It is better to let the soil dry a little before watering again. She also likes light, but like many plants, she doesn't like full sun. In summer, it is better to put her about two metres from the window. Brown leaves are best cut away, and once a month in the spring and summer months, add some nutrition to make her leaves even greener.
The plant arrived in very good condition and with a beautiful form. This plant is still producing new leaves.

Everything about Pachira
Pachira Aquatica, commonly known as the Money Tree, is a tropical wetland tree species in Malvaceae's mallow family, native to Central and South America. A Pachira tree has a unique braided trunk and shiny beautiful leaves that form a green umbrella. Its leaves, often split into five to nine parts, spread out from the centre like fingers, giving the plant a playful, hand-like look.
