This unique but beautiful plant is the Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma Variegata, perhaps better known as the Monstera Minima (variegata). Really an appearance due to her shiny green leaves with the beautiful white variegation markings added to it. She is very rare and therefore highly sought after by real plant lovers. Despite her nickname, she is not officially part of the Monstera family, but understandably so. Its leaves have the fenestrations mostly seen in the Monstera family.
Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is native to south-east Asia, where it climbs up trees. She is a fast-growing climbing plant that is not demanding when it comes to care. Give this beauty a spot with lots of indirect light and a place where it can climb well. A moss pole, for example, is really recommended. Furthermore, our Aroid potting soil mix is excellent for her to grow in and make sure it is always kept slightly moist and she will certainly do well. Of course, the care of a variegated plant is a bit more challenging, but in a nutshell: it is important to give her plenty of light, ensure a constant temperature around her and dare to prune when the variegation seems to stop.
This is my favorite plant and I decided to treat myself for my birthday. When it arrived it was only 3 leaves and I was a little bit worried because the soil was really wet. However it has already produce 2 beautiful new leaves in less than a month. The first one is a lot greener than the rest (including the newest) but this is good as it will help the plant photosynthesize. Can't wait to see it grow more !
The plant I received was in good shape, but the leaves are smaller and less adult than in the picture. And I know variegation is totally random and every plant is unique but mine has a lot of white parts - what looks really nice, but which are also a bit more difficult to take care of :D
Beautiful plant. I hope it keeps on growing. My plant looks very similar to the one in the picture

Everything about Rhaphidophora
The Rhaphidophora genus originates from Tropical Africa, Australia, Malaysia and Western Pacific. The genus consists of 100 species, and these beauties are all from the family of Araceae. These beauties are capable of beginning life just as a seed, or even be at first a terrestrial plant and climb in a tree to send roots back to the soil. Sometimes they even thrive in fast-flowing water. We call them rheophytic plants. It’s a really interesting plant, right?
