We know the Anthurium family to exist of all types of showstoppers, this species is a hybrid between 2 of those beauties! This plant is the cross of the Anthurium Magnificum and Anthurium Luxurians. It has oversized heart-shaped leaves, with lots of structure and texture. Once the leaves harden, they are dark and rich in colour, which fits the luxurious looks of this hybrid Anthurium. Have you fallen for this rare beauty? Buy Anthurium Magnificum x Luxurians online.
Note: these are hybrid plants. Although the pictured plant gives you a good indication of what to expect, the plant might vary in characteristics.
You can grow this hybrid in potting soil that is suitable for epiphytes. The soil should be very chunky, able to drain water, but still able to hold moisture. We have put all the needed substrates together in our epiphytes potting mix kit, so you can create your mix at home with ease!
The Anthuriums like to grow inside of bright indirect light, this would be a few metres away from a sunny window. Too much light will cause scorching, but too little light will stunt growth and stimulate the plant to become leggy. So make sure to keep an eye on your green stunner to see if you are providing it with the right amount of light.
Lately, make sure to provide the plant with regular splashes of water, which would keep the soil slightly moist. Whenever the top few centimetres of the soil feel dry, it is time for that splash.

Everything about Anthurium
All varieties of Anthurium plants are tropical plants and mostly come from South and Central America. Anthurium is a genus of about 1000 species and, therefore, one of the largest genus of the Araceae family.
Anthuriums are divided into two main groups: flowering Anthuriums (flamingo flowers) and foliage Anthuriums. Flowering Anthuriums have brightly coloured waxy spathes (modified leaves) that look like flowers. Other varieties of Anthurium plants have striking foliage with big and deep green heart-shaped leaves and amazing veined patterns.
