Psst we have something really special for you here! This is the Alocasia Lauterbachiana Variegata, it has long narrow leaves with a wavy edge. On top you will find a vary of colours, rome creme to dark green and everything in between. Sometimes this gorgeous variegation also appears as speckles on the foliage, making the colours really blend in one to another. These super cool leaves are carried by brownish speckled stems, so literally everywhere you lay your eyes has something to be hypnotised by! The Alocasia can be picky when it comes to water. They don’t like to be left standing in soggy soil, but don’t like overly dry soil either. The best thing is to water the Alocasia when the top 2-3 centimetres of the soil is dry. Most important to opt the humidity level around the plant to 60% or higher.
This aroid would like a chunky potting potting soil that is able to retain moisture and drain off excess water. We would suggest using our aroi potting mix kit to create the perfect blend at home.
