The Ficus Lyrata, also known as the fig-leaf plant or violet leaf plant, is a huge feast for the eyes and is really one of our favourites. The beautiful large, strong heart-shaped leaves grow proudly upwards and give her a dignified appearance. This giant beauty is extra special as she has multiple branches. This way she easily fills up the room, not only in height but also in width!
The Ficus Lyrata does not need much water, so it is better not to water too much at once but to water small amounts more often. The soil may dry out a little between waterings. She likes an indirect sunny spot, but make sure you turn her every few months to make sure she does not grow crooked. Sometimes, the large leaves can become dull. You can prevent this by regularly dusting the leaves with a slightly damp cloth
