Top 11 low-maintenance plants for truly every PLNTSlover!

Are you also a real plant lover but don't have such green fingers? Don't worry! There are plenty of plants that even you can keep alive with little care and attention. So you can still bring the cosy greenery into your home! And who knows, you might create more and more green fingers and become a pro at taking care of plants too. Let's start with the easy ones first, below you'll find a top eleven of easy-to-care-for plants.

1. Monstera Deliciosa

Everyone knows this plant! The Monstera Deliciosa has beautiful big leaves with holes in them and she really doesn't need much attention. She will be happy in a bright spot (indirect sunlight) and the potting soil should be kept slightly moist. If you forget to water her once, it's no big deal, she can take a beating! 2. Philodendron Scandens Micans

This is the perfect plant for tall cabinets, windowsills or wall shelves, the Philodendron Scandens Micans! This is an ideal hanging plant that also grows well in a semi-shaded spot. The Micans' leaves have a velvety appearance, making it extra fun to look at. The happier she is the longer her stems get, the more beautiful the velvety leaves become! 3. Areca Lutescens

4.Strelitzia Nicolai

The Strelitzia Nicolai is also a really big beautiful plant! Do you have an empty spot in your house where the sun occasionally comes through? The Nicolai will love it! Make sure the potting soil stays moist, water once a week and you will see that you can enjoy the Strelitzia Nicolai for a long time. Its relative Strelitzia Reginae is also an easy plant to add to your interior!

5. Ficus Lyrata

Ficus Lyrata, also known as the fiddle-leaf fig, is a beautiful plant with leathery leaves. This plant is also easy to care for, there are only a few requirements to consider. Like most plants, the potting soil should be kept slightly moist and Ficus grows best in a light spot! The only thing this plant doesn't like much is being moved. So get it a good permanent and light spot and voila!

6. Monstera Adansonii

The Monstera Adansonii is related to the Deliciosa, so this plant is also super easy to care for! The Adansonii is only a bit more compact and its leaves consist of multiple holes. 7. Pachira Aquatica

Pachira Aquatica is also known as the Money Tree. This cheerful little tree with a tuft of leaves is super easy to care for, once every three weeks this plant expects a splash of water. The next watering is only when the soil has really dried up. The Pachira Aquatica stores water in its trunk which means fewer waterings are needed, easy huh?

8. Sansevieria

This is perhaps the easiest plant of all, the Sansevieria Laurentie! You can't easily go wrong with this tough lady. It doesn't mind missing a little water now and then and grows well in both light and shady places! You will find more information and the different varieties in our shop.

9. Hoya

Hoya comes in many different varieties, these fun hanging plants are also called the wax flower. But don't be afraid! The Hoya does not manage to bloom on everyone. During the growing season, the Hoya only needs to be watered once a week, and in winter it keeps quiet. Then you only need to water when the soil has dried up, easy peasy!

10. Yucca

Looking for a cool plant? Then the Yucca is for you! The trunk gives this plant a tree-like appearance. This makes her a real eye-catcher in your home. The Yucca originates from dry areas, so she needs little care and can really take a beating! Although she needs little water, it can grow quickly.

11. Zamioculcas Zamiifolia

Another great and easy-to-care-for plant. The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia! This plant has beautiful glossy leaves that will brighten up any room. The Zamiifolia is happy in both a bright spot and in the shade and needs very little water. The plant stores water in its stem and roots, so it's no problem if you forget to water once. The Zamioculcas likes to stand tight in its pot, but if the pot starts to crack, the ZZ plant will need to be repotted. Most plants prefer to be repotted in spring, as that is when the growing period starts. With the Zamioculcas, this doesn't matter at all! You can repot the ZZ plant at any time. Ideal, isn't it?
