Aeschynanthus

This cute plant is thought to be closely related to the Hoya by many PLNTSlovers. Even though their foliage is very similar, the Aeschynanthus is a different family. This family has about 150 subtropical plant species, one of which is the beloved Lipstick Plant. She got this nickname due to the adorable lipstick shaped flowers she can produce, which are coloured a bright red.
