The velvety heart-shaped leaves have a beautiful drawing and colour, which distinguishes it from most terrarium plants and therefore creates beautiful colour contrasts.
The Philodendron scandens micans likes light but not bright sunshine, and prefers to stay warm- ideally between 16 and 24 degrees. She likes moist soil but be careful not to water her too much. If she’s getting yellow leaves, that’s a sure sign that she’s getting too much water. Her leaves and stems are poisonous to pets, so she’s best kept well away from them.
