The Rhaphidophora Decursiva is an amazing species that you will rarely come across! Her leaves have a beautiful structure with pronounced, sunken veins. What is the most exciting thing about this special plant is the leaf transformation as the plant matures. As she gets bigger the leafs will start appearing the fenestrations and be almost unrecognizable from her younger state. The splits then extend to the mid-rib and this gives her a truly unique look. Place this Rhaphidophora Decursiva away from direct sunlight, as it will burn her leaves. It is best to place the plant in a spot with moderate light or half-shadow. Important is that the soil remains slightly moist and does not dry out. Be careful not to over-water, or root rot will quickly occur. She loves a warm temperature to grow well, so do not let the ambient temperature around her drop below 15 degrees. During the growing season it is good to give her extra nutrition every fortnight, so that she will grow quickly.
