Do you want a plant that really radiates jungle vibes? Then you may want to choose the Calathea orbifolia! This South American Amazon beauty has broad leaves that are green and silver striped. The Calathea Orbifolia is a living plant. She will assume different positions during the day; in the morning her leaves will open and in the evening they will close again. So you can fully enjoy its magnificent leaves during the day!
This Calathea comes from a very humid environment, so it will also prefer this in her place in your home. At least 50% humidity, but preferably higher. Her soil should remain moist, but no water should remain at the bottom of the pot. This can cause root rot. A place near a window facing north is very suitable for its need of light

Gorgeous calathea, with some minor cosmetic injury due to shipping but is now putting out new leaves so I am quite happy.
