The Begonia Masoniana is a strong houseplant and originates from South China and North Vietnam. This plant is also called the ‘iron cross’ begonia. It owes its name to the cruciform pattern on its leaves. The cross is reddish brown and contrasts nicely with the bright green leaves. The Begonia Masoniana can also function as a hanging plant.
The Begonia Masoniana prefers a semi-shade spot. Feel the potting soil regularly to make sure your Begonia is not drying out. Try to keep the potting soil slightly moist, wet feet are not appreciated.
