Variegated plants always need some type of extra care, but this plant is the perfect candidate for when you never have taken care of any variegated plant. It is important to provide her with enough light, since low light can cause her to produce less variegation. A spot with lots of bright, indirect light is perfect for her.
She isn’t too picky about the rest of her requirements, most important is to keep her inside a stable environment that isn’t too cold or too dry.

The Rhaphidophora genus originates from Tropical Africa, Australia, Malaysia and Western Pacific. The genus consists of 100 species, and these beauties are all from the family of Araceae. These beauties are capable of beginning life just as a seed, or even be at first a terrestrial plant and climb in a tree to send roots back to the soil. Sometimes they even thrive in fast-flowing water. We call them rheophytic plants. It’s a really interesting plant, right?
