Perhaps you have seen plants sold under the name 'Obliqua' and in the end it was never the real thing. It is never Obliqua, it is often said ;). But we present to you... the real Obliqua! Yes, THE REAL ONE! We have added this unicorn of the Monstera genus to our collection and we could not be prouder.
This aroid is the ultimate standout amongst fenestrated plants! The rest of the leaf looks almost frayed, which makes her truly exceptional! She is a tropical plant from Central and South America. The Monstera Obliqua is one of the smallest Monstera species and it is very difficult to find in its native area. But now you can find it here. How cool!
This rarity requires a little work, but she is well worth it! It needs a fairly humid environment, around 80%. A grow house or terrarium will work perfectly for her, this will also help you keep the temperature high, as she loves heat. Keep the temperature really above 18 degrees. A well draining coarse mix of soil is ideal for her. Finally, for good growth

So in love with this plant and it's already making a runner so soon I'll have 2 Obliquas, yay! I do have to say that, unless there is light directly above the plant, the leaves will stand up vertically towards the light which looks less aesthetically pleasing.
