Provide this elegant plant with lots of bright, indirect light. Water her whenever 50% of the soil is dried out. You can either feel this by sticking your finger inside the soil, or by using a tool like the Tessa watermeter. You can mix a potting mix for aroids, which consists of 60% soil, 15% bark, 10% coconuts fibre, 10% charcoal and 5% perlite.
Due to her tropical origin, the Philodendron Serpens likes to be grown inside a humidity of around 60% and a temperature between 21 and 29 degrees. She will really benefit by a pebble tray or by a personal humidifier when growing inside your urban jungle!
