Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? Yes the Philodendron Paraiso Verde definitely is! Paraiso Verde in Spanish means Green Paradise, so we definitely get why she got that name. This extremely rare beauty has long leaves with beautiful variegated colours on it. Her leaves have a super pretty mottled pattern which differs in colour from white to dark green. She originates from Brazil and therefore is also called ‘Marina Ruy Barbosa’, a Brazilian actress. Quite an honour for this actress, right?
To bring out the best of her mottling colours, it’s best to place the Philodendron Paraiso Verde in a spot with much indirect sunlight. Placing this beauty in a spot with less light will take away her variegation. She’s quite sensitive to overwatering, but which plant isn’t?
