Caution, vulnerable to leaf damage
How beautiful is she, isn't she? This Philodendron Paraiso Verde! 'Paraiso Verde' means 'Green Paradise in Spanish, so we think that is quite fitting for her. This rare plant has beautiful and striking long leaves with special variegated colours on them. Her leaves also have a super pretty mottled pattern that ranges from white to dark green. The variegated colours and patterns become more so as she grows. For her, you just make room in your home!
To do its variegated colours justice, it is best to give the Philodendron Paraiso Verde a spot with lots of indirect sunlight. If you put this beauty in a place with less light, her variegated colours will eventually disappear. She is quite sensitive to overwatering, but actually every plant is. Make sure she is not in soggy soil and let the top (5 cm) dry out before you water her again. To make this little work of art extra happy, you can always treat her to high humidity. You can achieve this with a humidifier, for example.
