If you are looking for something bright and cheerful, this might be the lady for you! The Philodendron Painted Lady has green foliage with a speckled yellow pattern. The midrib of the leaf is reddish-orange, as are the rest of the stems. So you can imagine that she is quite the colour explosion, perfect if you want to brighten up your urban jungle! The Painted Lady is really good at climbing and will grow to her full potential when she is provided with support to climb. That is why we would advise her to grow with a growing tool at all times.
When she is ready to be repotted, she will be very happy if you spoil her with an airy potting mix kit. This will allow her roots to develop easily, make sure she has oxygen around her roots, and allow excess water to drain from the soil. Sounds like a nice and cosy base for her, right?
Keep her soil moist, so whenever the top of the soil starts to feel dry, she would like to be provided with a sip.
