The braided Pachira Aquatica or money tree, is a tropical beauty with glossy green leaves and an elegant woven trunk that evokes South American mangroves. Though native to Latin America it’s most celebrated in Asia where its five-pointed leaves symbolize luck and prosperity in feng shui. Fast-growing and full of charm, it brings a touch of calm and vitality to any space.
Though the Pachira Aquatica originates from the wetlands of South America, she prefers her roots to stay dry when potted so it’s best to let the soil dry slightly before watering again. She enjoys bright, indirect light but not the harsh summer sun. During warmer months, place her a little away from the window, and in winter she’ll appreciate a spot closer to it. Trim any brown leaves to keep her looking fresh, and feed her once a month in spring and summer with an organic plant fertilizer to keep her lush and vibrant.

Everything about Pachira
Pachira Aquatica, commonly known as the Money Tree, is a tropical wetland tree species in Malvaceae's mallow family, native to Central and South America. A Pachira tree has a unique braided trunk and shiny beautiful leaves that form a green umbrella. Its leaves, often split into five to nine parts, spread out from the centre like fingers, giving the plant a playful, hand-like look.
