Spathiphyllum
Spathiphyllum is a genus of about 47 species of flowering plants in the Araceae family. Its roots go back to the tropical regions of America and southeastern Asia. In its natural habitat, it grows near rivers and lakes. It was a German botanist who brought this beauty to Europe, where it began to grow as an ornamental statement piece in many homes. Quite the history, this plant!
