Scindapsus Pictus, the satin pothos, looks like she was sprinkled with silver. Her velvety deep green leaves shimmer with metallic spots that catch the light beautifully. She trails gracefully or climbs happily, and stays gorgeous even in spots with modest light. An easy, elegant green friend that adds a touch of sparkle to your urban jungle.
Your satin pothos likes a bright spot without direct sun, which can scorch her velvety leaves. Water weekly in small amounts and let the top few centimetres of soil dry out first; she would rather be slightly too dry than too wet. Curling leaves are her polite way of asking for water. She enjoys normal room humidity and a little plant food in spring and summer. Repot every two years and give her vines a trim now and then to keep her full and bushy, and keep her away from nibbling pets.

They're low maintenance and can handle different growing conditions, like low light and being left alone for a while. There are several names for the plant - Scindapsus, Satin Pothos, Silk Pothos, and Spotted Ivy.
As a member of the Araceae family, Satin Pothos enjoys climbing up tall trees and other objects to reach the sunlight in their natural habitat.
