The Pilea Peperomioides Mojito is a rare cutie amongst the Pileas. After all, we grew it ourselves with love! This Pilea has a variegated pattern on her leaves which gets you in the mood for a fresh Mojito cocktail, hence our PLNTS Community decided on this name for our own special Pilea! Asides from being very unique, this plant also has great air filtering capabilities. The Pilea needs a little bit a water on a weekly basis. Make sure to regularly check if the plant receives enough water, you can do this by weighting the plant and pot (heavy means it has a lot of water, light means it’s quite dry) or by putting your finger in the soil. Make sure that the soil is slightly moist at all times and doesn’t dry out, but make sure you don’t drown the plant either! The Pilea is happiest at a bright spot with plenty indirect sunlight.

It arrived very droopy but is now slowly recovering. The leaves are starting to stand up straight and the plant is nice and full and has such pretty and pronounced variegation. It really is a joy to look at and I love having it in my collection.
