Philodendron Verrucosum is a rare gem among the Philodendrons, with so many unique characteristics that we could write a book about it! Her beautiful deep green heart-shaped leaves boast bright veins which seem to jump out from their surfaces, while the surprising red colour of their underside and their beautiful downy stems give this living room plant a complexity that demands a spot in centre stage where it can always be looked at.
The Philodendron Verrucosum doesn’t have a lot of requirements. She does not need a lot of water, but it is important to keep the soil constantly moist and not to let it dry out, so it’s best to give her regular small splashes of water. She can stand anywhere in the house, except in full sun. In the spring and summer, the growing season, give her some extra organic PLNTS nutrition on a regular basis to help her to add size.

Healthy plant with 3 nice leafs. The 4th one was however quite damaged, but it looks like it is unfurling damage and not shipping damage.

Nice plant, however, it was delivered with 2 leaves and a 3rd one coming. The leave of the third one was burned half of it..

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
