This Philodendron has a very distinct leaf shape. This makes her absolutely unique. The leaves look a bit like those of a Monstera plant, but much more incised! This is the Philodendron Mayoi and she is therefore very popular among Philodendron lovers. Difficult to obtain, but don't worry, you've finally found her! A fun fact about her name is that she is named after the botanist who discovered her. What an honour! right?
Philodendron Mayoi grows best in airy loose soil. Our Aroid potting soil mix is a perfect example. Always keep the substrate it grows in slightly moist, but avoid water accumulating at the bottom of the pot. That can cause root rot. Combine that with plenty of bright indirect light and humidity of 60% or higher. You can give her monthly feedings during the growing season. This will help her grow up absolutely beautifully. It may sound like a lot, but she is pretty forgiving
