Caution, vulnerable to leaf damage
The Philodendron Gloriosum is a beautiful green plant with large heart-shaped leaves. The leaves are a bright green with striking yellow nerves. Asides from the beautiful shape, the leaves also have a velvety texture to them which makes this plant extra special! The Philodendron Gloriosum originates from Colombia but nowadays also occurs in tropic areas in other parts of the world.
The Phildodendron Gloriosum is a slow-growing climbing plant which is well-known for its excellent air filtering capability. Bright indirect sunlight is key to helping this plant grow big, beautiful leaves. The more light it receives, the bigger the leaves get! Like most plants the Gloriosum isn’t keen on getting wet feet, so make sure that its soil is dry before watering the plant. Once or twice a week is often already sufficient. The Philodendron Gloriosum also loves getting misted regularly, this will help you keep this beauty happy and healthy!

5 stars for the plant and its beauty, it had been on my wishlist for a loong time! Unfortunately it arrived in poor condition, but I believe this was mainly due to the courier service because I found the box upside down even though it clearly stated which way was up. So the earth got everywhere and I had some damage to the leaves. Customer service was great though and together we came to a great solution, for which I'm so grateful. After losing all but one leaf it started to recover and put out one leaf after the other. I now have three healthy leaves and already had to repot it as it started to grow out of the pot. I feel like a disclaimer is in order for this plant though; it is not super easy to take care of in my opinion. Definitely don't over water it because it is very sensitive to root rot, but it is also a crawling plant that likes to crawl on top of the soil. This means that you'll need a decent sized pot and each time it reaches the end of the pot you'll have to either repot it or cut the stem and make 2 (or more) plants out of it. If you have the patience for this though, it is really rewarding as you end up with a full pot with lots of leaves when you put several cuttings in the same pot.

This package prob did a couple of cartwheels on the road because there was dirt everywhere and the leaves where a bit damaged... still this plant is THRIVING!! :)
