For all the velvet foliage PLNTSlovers, this is Philodendron Gigas. She is a climbing aroid that has big dark green velvety leaves. New foliage will be a shade of copper, which makes her very special. She originates from Panama and she wasn't discovered until 1997! In the wild the leaves have been recorded at over 1.2m long, whilst this is unlikely in cultivation, she will still get very large. How big will she become under your care?
This rare velvet beauty will be thrilled if you give her bright indirect light. She will thrive from high humidity, preferably above 60%. Chunky and airy soil is a perfect match for her. You can use our aroid kit to create the perfect soil mix for her. \r\nWater her frequently, whenever the top of the soil feels dry. Lastly

Your order will be hand picked and packed in our strong and sustainable packaging as soon as possible, after which it will be delivered straight from our greenhouse to your door by your chosen carrier. You can follow the journey of your plants via the tracking link you receive in your mail. We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants.
