This plant will never stop to amaze you with her amazing colour and mesmerizing shape! Yes, this is the rare Philodendron El Choco Red. She has giant heart shaped velvety leaves with a red bottom and green top. Her scientific name is ‘Philodendron Rubrijuvenile’, which also refers to her red colour. It means ‘red when juvenile’.
Give this El Choco an airy soil mix that you can keep moist at all times. You can do this by providing her with regular small waterings. Just keep an eye on any water that might be accumulating on the bottom of the pot. She is a climbing aroid, so a moss pole or plant stake is something she would be very happy with! For light, she would prefer bright indirect light. Like most plants direct sunlight will burn her leaves, so make sure to prevent this from happening. Lastly, a humidty of 60% or higher and your El Choco Red will grow beautifully!

Beautiful plant with its big velvety leaves. Bought a large which arrived in great condition and no damage. Needs a pole directly after being unwrapped.
