Isn't this Hoya Kerrii (double leaf) super special? Two hearts in one! That is why this Hoya is also called the heart plant. This romantic cutie is a real cupid, so besides being lovely to own, this plant is also nice to give away to someone special. It is one of the few plants that always stays this small, but that does not make it any less fun!
* Please note that this leaf-only cutting will not grow, as these cuttings lack a node from which new roots or leaves can emerge. If you are looking for a Kerrii that will continue to grow, check out our medium sized Kerrii.
Hoya Kerrii (Baby) likes to get a little splash of water twice a week. Allow the soil to dry out a little in between to prevent root rot. Once every 2 weeks, give her a little organic PLNTS nutrition to keep her beautiful heart-shaped leaves happy. Baby Hoya Kerrii loves light so put her in a nice spot, preferably in the morning sun. After that, she is done sunbathing and prefers to be out of the sun for the rest of the day.
So beautiful, thank you so much.
exactly like the picture (even a little bigger), it's so cute!
I didn't know Hoyas rarely grow into a full plant or need several years to push out a new stem, if they're propagated by a leaf only, apparently sometimes they never do. I still like it though, because the arrangement with the 'hearts' is really cute. I also checked the roots and the roots grew so much after I cut off the coco wrapping and elastic band the roots were bound and confined in! Maybe one day it will turn into a full plant...
Parfait !
Exactement comme sur la photo (difficile de faire plus ressemblant), et aucun soucis avec la livraison. Après deux semaines la plante se porte bien, adorable !
Really cute! :) The order arrived in 2 days and in very good condition.
When I ordered this plant, I didn't realize it will not grow to a bigger plant. Now, I read online that if a Hoya Kerrii doesn't already have a stem, it will never grow to a full plant and will stay as small as it is. This is really disappointing because I assumed this will not only be a leave as it is but grow into an actual bigger plant.
Have to take off points for the horrid soil, which I find common amongst baby plants from here. It's hardened to a point where it's solid as a rock. There's no chance of changing it unless you want to rip off the roots. Watering it seems useless. Otherwise kerii leaf looks as described
much bigger than expected. very beautiful.

Everything about Hoya
Hoya plants are a very impressive group of tropical houseplants. Plant collectors and experts estimate that there are more than 600 species in their family. Various characteristics distinguish different species and cultivars, including leaf shape, flower colour, size, and growth pattern.
Most Wax Plants are really easy to care for, but some cultivars require more attention. Overall, they are slow-growing plants with long stems and fleshy deep green waxy leaves. Some varieties even produce unique flowers. They (can) produce sweet-smelling and star-shaped flowers, usually with five thick and waxy petals.
