This plant will provide you with the ultimate feeling of tranquility. The Ficus Ginseng is a bonsai-like tree. She is native to Southeast Asia, Southern India, China and Australia where she lives in tropical areas. Her name is to thank from her thick roots, since ginseng means roots in Chinese. One thing is for certain this plant will make you Ficus Gin-zen :).
In spite of her tropical roots, the Ficus Ginseng does not require tropical temperatures. Above 15 degrees will do for her! Her thick trunk will save water, so forgetting to give her some water now and then will not be the end of her. Nevertheless, she will be grateful if you keep her soil slightly moist. She will absolutely thrive in a humid environment, between 60 and 80%. She is pretty tolerant of some drought though. Give her as much light as possible, as long as it’s not direct sunlight. all with all
