This small tree is called the Dracaena Golden Coast. She owes her name to her golden outline in her green foliage. Because of her thick stem, you can already see that this is a strong lady. She originally lives in the tropics of Africa and is therefore used to similar circumstances. This makes her very easy to care for and actually suitable for a lot of rooms in your home, for example the bathroom. As this quite a small size for Dracaena’s, try to make her grow much taller! Tip: put her in a larger pot when you are repotting her once every two year, this stimulates growth! ;-)
<span data-sheets-value="{"1":2,"2":"As said before, this lady is very strong! Because of her origin, the Dracaena Golden Coast doesn’t ask for much. She can easily survive in a spot with shadow, but remember she requires less water, the more she is in the shade. Make sure her soil is dried out before you water her again, don’t worry, she forgives you if you forget to water her once.
It's a great low maintenance plant. Grew more than 10 cm in a year, while being in a low light condition.

Everything about Dracaena
Dracaena plants are incredibly popular as houseplants worldwide. The ones you'll see most often are Dracaena Marginata and Dracaena Fragrans. You might also know them by other names, like Corn Plant, Dragon Tree, or Cornstalk Dracaena. What's really fun about these plants is that they look like tiny trees.
The word Dracaena comes from the Ancient Greek word Drakaina, meaning "female dragon". With about 120 recognised species, the Dracaena family is not particularly large. This family is native to Africa, South Asia, northern Australia and Central America.
