Small,round and cute leaves, do we need anything else? The Dischidia Nummularia gives a ton of these adorable leaves, on hanging vines, how cool?! She is a very easy going plant, which makes her the perfect addition for inexperienced PLNTSparents. She has earned a very fitting nickname to her look, namely ‘String of Nickels’. The String of Nickels grows as an epiphyte in nature, which will require a special potting mix to be able to grow right inside your urban jungle. We have created the epiphytes potting mix kit for you that contains all the substrates that you can grow your new Dischidia in.
You can let the soil mix dry out partly before watering her again. You can check the moistness of the soil with your finger, or let a tool like a plant sensor do this job for you.
The Dischidia would love to receive filtered sunlight, which will result in her needing the brightest spot inside your urban jungle. Just make sure she doesn;t receive direct sunlight on her cute leaves, since this might cause some scorching.

Such a pretty and lush plant! Arrived in perfect condition and way fuller and longer than I had expected. It was a bit of a process to get it untangled without damaging the leaves and I suggest to first put the plant in its hanging pot (when hanging of course) and thén untangle. I unfortunately did not think this through and did it the other way so it required quite some patience to then arrange the strings of the plant between the 4 strings of the hanger. But it looks so pretty, I absolutely love it!
