This Dischidia species has rather big leaves for the plant family, they can be up to 5 centimetres in width. These leaves are round and slightly curved, in nature they shield wild ants from predators. She has long vines that we as PLNTSlovers trail down from her pot, cabinet or from a shelf. The Dischidia likes to be watered whenever the potting soil has dried out partly. You can check the moistness with your finger, or get some support from our trusty Tessa water metre.
Since this plant lives in nature as an epiphyte, she will require a special potting mix, to be able to grow happily and healthy. We already created a potting mix kit for you, which contains all the substrates that you will need to make your new green friend cosy.
The final thing you should know is that Dischidia loves to receive filtered sunlight. This can be tricky at times, since direct sunlight might cause scorching.
