The Asplenium Parvati is a special bird's nest fern with narrow, wavy fronds that have beautifully ruffled edges, as if each leaf was trimmed with green lace. The fresh green rosette grows dense and full, giving it a wonderfully lush look while staying nicely compact. It has all the easygoing character of the Asplenium family, forgiving the occasional slip-up without complaint. Give it a humid spot, like the bathroom, and it will quietly steal the show. Your Asplenium loves a bright spot without direct sunlight, so a little distance from a south-facing window keeps those glossy fronds happy. Water weekly and keep the soil lightly moist, but never pour water into the heart of the rosette, as that can cause rot. This fern thrives on humidity, which makes the bathroom or a spot near other green friends a great choice. A well-draining potting mix and a repot every two years give the roots room to breathe. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted plant food. If you spot brown, crispy edges, the air is probably too dry, so grab that plant sprayer a little more often. Good news for pet parents: this one is completely animal-friendly.
