Scindapsus Njoy as a hanging plant is a cascade of crisp white and green variegated leaves tumbling over the edge of the pot. Every vine has its own pattern, which makes her endlessly fun to look at from below. She is wonderfully low-maintenance and keeps her fresh colours even in a spot with average light. Hang this green friend somewhere high and let her do the decorating for you.
Your pothos is about as easygoing as green friends get. Give her a spot with bright, indirect light; she tolerates some shade, though variegated leaves keep their pattern best with more light. Water weekly in summer and let the top of the soil dry out between waterings, as soggy roots are the one thing she truly dislikes. Limp leaves are her way of asking for a drink, and she perks up within hours. Feed lightly in spring and summer and repot every two years. Keep her out of reach of pets, since her leaves are not meant for nibbling.

Scindapsus plants are super tough houseplants, perfect for first-time plant parents or homes that don't get much light. They're low maintenance and can handle different growing conditions, like low light and being left alone for a while. There are several names for the plant - Scindapsus, Satin Pothos, Silk Pothos, and Spotted Ivy.
As a member of the Araceae family, Satin Pothos enjoys climbing up tall trees and other objects to reach the sunlight in their natural habitat.
