Compared to other orchids, the Jewel Orchid Ludisia Discolor is very unique! She is the proud owner of stunning leaves with impressive bright veins. The Ludisica Discolor is one of the Orchids that roots in soil rather than in pieces of tree bark (bark potting mix). After a while, she produces flowering spikes that grow upwards. Once finished she will show her pretty little white flowers!
The Jewel Orchid Ludisia Discolor is known for her beautiful leaves. She is an easy houseplant to care for. In nature, they often grow low, in shady places. Do you want to make her feel completely at home? Then try to mimic this by not placing her in direct sunlight. A semi-shade spot is perfect. She does not like wet feet. One watering every seven to nine days is sufficient. Only water the Ludisia when the soil is almost dry and add PLNTS Nutrition in the spring and summer water, it will help her grow! While most orchids are poisonous to humans and animals, this one is not poisonous.
