Epipremnum Marble Queen as a full hanging plant: cascades of heart-shaped leaves, each one marbled in creamy white and fresh green. From a high shelf or hanging pot she creates an instant waterfall of colour that keeps growing longer and fuller. She is famously easygoing and forgives the occasional forgotten watering without complaint. A ready-made eye-catcher for anyone who wants that lush jungle feeling right away.
Your pothos is about as easygoing as green friends get. Give her a spot with bright, indirect light; she tolerates some shade, though variegated leaves keep their pattern best with more light. Water weekly in summer and let the top of the soil dry out between waterings, as soggy roots are the one thing she truly dislikes. Limp leaves are her way of asking for a drink, and she perks up within hours. Feed lightly in spring and summer and repot every two years. Keep her out of reach of pets, since her leaves are not meant for nibbling.

Epipremnum plants are commonly known under the "Pothos" name. Some people also call it "Devil's Ivy" because it's so hard to kill. It comes from tropical regions, particularly Southeast Asia, and grows in tropical forests where it's warm and humid. It's part of the Araceae family, which is often called the Aroid or Arum family. It's a big family with lots of different plants in it!
