This is the Caladium Frog in a Blender, her name is pretty funny but we probably all understand why she is named this way after having a glance at her. She has arrow shaped leaves that have a variety of bright green and dark green splotches. She is a very unique looking plant and will most definitely stand out in between all other green plants. Grow your own Caladium and feel like a plant whisperer! In spring it is time to plant your tuber 1-2 centimeters deep into the soil. Make sure that the bud is facing upwards, otherwise no growth will appear. Keep your Frog in a Blender warm and cozy by not letting the temperature drop below 21 degrees. Give her lots of bright indirect light and you will see sprouts appearing within 3 - 6 weeks. The Caladium is a thirsty plant, make sure to water her thoroughly, without water accumulating on the bottom of the pot. Spoil your Caladium with regular misting sessions and maybe even her own personal humidifier. In Fall she is preparing for her wintersleep and her leaves will fall off. Once only your tuber is left, you can store her inside dry sand. Store her somewhere where the temperature won’t drop below 12 degrees and wait until the next spring to repot your unique Caladium. We promise she will surprise you every year again. :)

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
