This pretty appearance is the Caladium Bicolor. She has big heart shapes leaves, that are embellished with pink veins and white dots. A very cheerful look! Your colourful Caladium is ready to be planted in spring. You can make her cozy by placing the tuber with her bud facing upwards, about 2 centimeters deep in soil. She will grow best in bright indirect light and in a temperature of about 21 degrees. You should see some sprouts appear after 3-6 weeks. Spoil her with regular misting sessions and keep her soil slightly moist. Just check on a regular basis if there is no water accumulating on the bottom of the pot. She really dislikes having wet feet. Once fall arrives her leaves start to fall off. If only the tuber is left, you can place the tuber in dry sand to keep her safe until next spring. You can enjoy your pretty Caladium every year by following these steps. :)
