This Baby Alocasia Chantrieri is a tropical plant native to Southeast Asia. The Alocasia Chantrieri is known for her attractive, large, heart-shaped leaves and long, slender stems. The Alocasia Chantrieri has leaves with wavy edges, while the undersides of the leaves are a deep red colour. The leaves can grow up to a metre long! The plant is often called "Elephant's Ear" because of the shape of her leaves, which are said to resemble the ears of an elephant. This baby Alocasia is a popular houseplant, would you like to bring her into your home?
This baby prefers bright, indirect light and well-drained soil. She should be watered regularly, but dry out slightly between waterings. Too much watering can lead to root rot, so it is important to keep an eye on the moisture level of the soil.
