The Aglaonema will bring a pop of colour to your urban jungle. She has spear-shaped leaves with a bright red outer edge that fades into green towards the centre. The Aglaonema are tough plants, which shows in their easy maintenance and ability to grow under different circumstances. The only thing they are a bit fussy about is their preference for a high humidity. A humidity of around 70% would be perfect! Spraying them with water is not recommended, since this will cause some stains on their pretty leaves.
They also would prefer to grow inside a chunky soil mix and inside bright indirect light. But they also tolerate lower light conditions.

Everything about Aglaonema
The Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen) is part of the Araceae family and originates from tropical areas of Southeast Asia. There are more than 50 recognised varieties of Aglaonema with endless variation in leaf colour and shape. Most Aglaonema’s are green with white or greyish colours, but there are also variations with pink or purple colours. The leaves usually have a marbled or mottled pattern.
