Plant nutrition

Plant nutrition for indoor plants

Spring is the period when plants awaken from their winter sleep. And after such a long 'break' they are quite hungry.

From March to October it is therefore important to give your plants extra power to grow! The best 'growth-power' consists of a special mix of very balanced minerals and fertilizers that you add to your water every week. This will make your plants grow bigger and produce beautiful new (shiny) leaves.

We love plants and want all our plants to grow strong and beautiful. We like to go the extra mile... Together with plant experts we have therefore put together a special PLNTS nutrition. One that is full of 'growing power' and is absorbed by the roots of your plant super-quickly, so that it can enjoy it as soon as possible.

How much plant nutrition do you use?

It is important to us that our nutrients help your plants grow, but it is just as important that they are 100% biodegradable. In addition, our PLNTS food is super concentrated as you only need a small cap in 1 liter of water!

250 ml - will feed your PLNTS for seven months*.

500 ml - can feed you for over a year*.

*calculated with one liter of water per use

Oh, and before we forget... the PLNTS nutrition is also very suitable for semi hydro.

Here's how this magical mix works...

N Nitrogen 5.50 %, P2O5 Phosphorus Pentoxide 1.70 %, K2O Potassium oxide 4.00 %, CaO Calcium oxide 4.30 %, MgO Magnesium oxide 3.20 %.

  • Nitrogen (N) ensures cell growth and respiration of the plant so your plant stays healthy and grows nicely.
  • Phosphate (P) ensures good seed formation and root growth.
  • Potassium (K) ensures sturdy cells, and good water balance in the plant.
  • Magnesium (Mg) ensures a nice leaf color
  • Calcium (Ca) provides a strong structure so you get a strong plant that can take a beating.

The PLNTS nutrient contains a high concentration of N-P-K (6-2-4), which is professionally calibrated and much higher than most brands. The nutrient is also full of so-called 'trace elements' that ensure that all processes in your plant work optimally. Think of the formation of flowers and fruits and the nitrogen absorption and processing by your plant. These ingredients are: Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn) and Molybdenum (Mo).
