Small arrow shaped leaves in a soft mid green, held on short stems that stay upright and neat rather than climbing away. Pixie is the compact Syngonium, bred to stay small, which makes it a natural fit as a baby that will not suddenly demand a moss pole. It grows quickly for its size, filling out into a dense little rosette of arrowheads within a season. It handles average room conditions without fuss and forgives the occasional missed watering. A tidy, undemanding green friend for a desk, a bookshelf or a bathroom windowsill.
Your Syngonium Pixie wants bright indirect light, though it stays reasonably happy in a slightly shadier corner too. Water every other week and let the top half of the soil dry out before you water again, since soggy roots are the main risk with this one. It enjoys a bit of extra humidity and grows noticeably fuller in a bathroom or when grouped with other plants. Use a light, airy mix with perlite and repot once a year, because it fills a small pot fast. Feed monthly in spring and summer and stop when growth slows down. Syngonium is toxic if chewed, so it is not one to leave within reach of pets or toddlers.

Syngoniums are easy-to-care houseplants with stunning foliage. Their leaves have different colours and beautiful patterns, which range from shades of white and pink to deep greens. They grow into a bushy shape and eventually develop vines, as they are climbers by heart!
The leaves of Syngoniums resemble the tips of an arrow, which is why they are also called Arrowhead Plants. They belong to the Araceae family and are native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. That's why they love warm and humid spots!
