The baby Pilea Peperomioides Sugar is also called the Chinese penny plant or pancake plant. Though you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking, she’s a relative of the stinging nettle, and this particular variety of pancake plant is known as ‘sugar’ for the subtle silvery pattern which makes it look as if there are sugar crystals on her leaves. In addition to its air-purifying qualities, this lady is a grateful roommate. The Pilea peperomioides multiplies quickly, so before you know it your family will be expanding.
The baby Pilea Peperomioides Sugar is a low stress plant. With a splash of water once a week and some organic PLNTS nutrition every two weeks you will make this pancake plant very happy. If you want a fuller plant, cut off some of the small side shoots in the pot and put them in water. When there are enough roots on the stem you can add them to the pot

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
