Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? Yes the Philodendron Paraiso Verde definitely is! Paraiso Verde in Spanish means Green Paradise, so we definitely get why she got that name. This extremely rare beauty has long leaves with beautiful variegated colours on it. Her leaves have a super pretty mottled pattern which differs in colour from white to dark green. She originates from Brazil and therefore is also called ‘Marina Ruy Barbosa’, a Brazilian actress. Quite an honour for this actress, right?
big beautiful plant that came nicely packed with 9 leaves. though it came with one broken stem, 2 green leaves that didn't have the variegation but all in all good quality and responsive and professional customer service who gave me a partial refund for the plant. thank you
WOW! This was a top wishlist plant for me and after reading the other reviews of this plant, I had high hopes for receiving a big, beautiful specimen. I'm happy to say that PLNTS.com did not disappoint. This was my first order from PLNTS, and while the shipping process was a bit disappointing (it took 10 days for the plant to get to me vs. the stated "2-3 days after confirmation"), the plant itself is incredible. It is approx. 80cm tall with 5 established leaves (each between 25-40cm long) with the 6th currently unfurling. All 6 are beautifully variegated with the kinds of colors and markings you see on the very best online photos =). Yes, it's an expensive plant, but absolutely worth it. *I just received it a couple days ago, but I am hoping it can acclimatize well and continue being the gorgeous plant that it is. Also worth noting, the packaging was brilliant except for the fact that the heat pack was not secured and was able to knock around inside the box. It has caused some minor damage to two of the petioles (again, hoping it's nothing serious).
Absolutely stunning plant, bigger than expected! But I do not recommend buying in colder weather. The heatpack didn't protect the plant enough sadly and there was no protecting packing material in the box. Had to cut off the top due to dying of, hope it doesn't spread more.
Ridiculously gigantic and gorgeous plant!
As per usual, PLNTS knocked it out of the park! This has been a wishlist plant of mine for a year, and at this price I couldn't resist. The plant is HUGE, has 6 big beautiful leaves with stunning variegation, no shipping damage whatsoever, and very prompt delivery! So happy!
