Philodendron Mexicanum is a species of tropical evergreen plant native to Mexico and Central America. She is a fast-growing and beautiful plant with unusual leaves. She has in fact beautiful arrow-shaped leaves when mature. The underside of these leaves have a brown to reddish colour. A real eye-catcher!
To care for a Philodendron Mexicanum, put it in an airy soil mixture and water it regularly. Do allow the soil to dry out a little between waterings. Place the plant in a spot with bright, indirect light and fertilise it monthly during the growing season. Prune the plant if necessary to maintain the desired size and shape. All in all, this beauty is a low-maintenance and attractive plant that will brighten up any home.

We expect every order to arrive in tip-top shape. We take intensive care of the plants in our greenhouse and use special and as sustainable as possible protective packaging to ship our plants. We also wrote an extensive blog about how to unpack and prepare your plants for growth after shipping. However there are rare occasions where our plants don’t meet their full potential. That’s why all plants are guaranteed for 30 days after arrival, if still in its original nursery pot.
